A Frustrating Mess

I didn’t take an internship that could have gotten me into my industry of choice. I didn’t take the time to look for a rewarding job. I never left my job to pursue other options, further my education, or to simply take a break and re-group. I took the first soul-sucking desk jockey position I was offered that had full benefits and clung to it for dear life, because I knew I was only one test result away from yet another surgery and I was scared.

Is it Peace or is it Prozac? Notes from a well-medicated life.

I found taking Tadalafil to be something like accepting entrée into the senior citizen’s menu. Like many people, when I first qualified for it I was offended. Then, when I realized that I could get something I hadn’t seen since I was 17, I embraced it whole-heartedly and became like the rest of the geezers who are all like, “Is ‘Pigs in a Blanket’ on the ‘Honored Guest’ menu?” because with Cialis, the answer is always, “Yes, sir, it sure is.”

And Then There Was One

Recently I heard a Professor of History from the University of Virginia respond to the suggestion made by actor Tom Hanks that World War II was largely driven by racism. His premise is made by drawing comparisons to modern day rhetoric with that of WW II rhetoric. Hanks concludes our fight with the Japanese and ultimately our use of “the bomb” was from a racist motive to utterly and completely wipe them out. I think the 1940’s era phrase he invoked was “…just wipe them all out!”
