American Idol Journal – WEEK 8 CASEY ABRAMS IS GONE…AGAIN!

Casey Abrams

At some level we all knew Casey Abrams was destined to leave the show.  Early on I knew he wouldn’t be the winner, after all, when the judges saved him the first time it seemed to create a bit of a Casey backlash. Further, after Pia Toscano was eliminated enough issue was made of their ‘waisted’ save on Casey.  In the end, Casey never really got to bat again.

Sorry for the lateness of this post.  I was on the road and my typically faithful Slingbox was unavailable to review the show in time to post. For me at least, it was a technology FAIL!

Regarding the entertainment for the night, I thought Crystal Bowersox was better than any previous AI Alumni that performed this season during the results show.

One last thought.  I’m careful to ‘hear’ what the judges say to contestants and general comments at points during the show.  I think we’ll see Jacob Lusk go next week for no other reason than the American Idol franchise wants the final four to be two boys, two girls. Further, the finale may in fact have a female in it too.  I can’t imagine an final between James Durbin and Scotty McCreery.   I still think it is Scotty‘s to lose.

Do me a favor please, if you have a few moments, could you post your comments below this post.  The process is easy and once you’ve been approved once, future comments should appear immediately.

Thanks for reading this far.
